Aloke Lohia is the Group CEO of Indorama Ventures PCL (IVL). He has lived in Thailand for over 30 years, during which time he has built the company into one of the world’s petrochemical leaders. IVL is a global chemical company and the world’s largest manufacturer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) as well as a leading producer of high value-added products, including fiber products to the automotive and hygiene branded consumer goods industries. With over 24,000 employees and 120 operating sites in 33 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia Pacific. In 2019, the company’s and consolidated revenue recorded US$ 11.4 billion.

He is a member of the International Advisory Council of the Singapore Management University and a governor of the Steering Committee for Chemistry and Advanced Materials at the World Economic Forum.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi and holds an Honorary Doctoral Degree of Business Administration from Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep in Thailand. He is married to Suchitra and has three children.
